With one touch of a button you can make sure that all lights are off and all locks locked, all blinds down etc, but it is essential to be able to see the status of all these functions.
For home owners we suggest a touch screen panel to see the status of lights, blinds, air conditioner, garage door etc and to be able to completely control your home from one spot.
For buildings the need for visualization is even greater but touch screen panels are not enough for control. We equip a building's Control Room with an OPC Server with visualization software. Every OPC server is custom made for each building according to the building plans and electrical installation. Status of each light or any other part of KNX installation is visible and possible to control from the server.
The Control Room can be in the building or on the other side of the world since KNX OPC Server is linked to an IP gateway. Some big companies want to use one central control room for more than one building.
Universal I/O interfaces for connecting push buttons, LED’s or other incandescent indicators in customer specific operating and display panels. Touch panels and display tableau’s: free programmable displays for user specific visualisation and control purposes, including a wide range of in-build control and monitoring functions for building auto Telephone and Internet gateways allowing remote signaling, access and control of the EIB / KNX installation via telephone, Internet or other LAN-Networks.
In large objects you find often a central building management with control and visualization (like NETxLAB Voyager 4.0 Enterprise) and be able to connect to other foreign systems.
A redundant NETxKNX OPC serverfarm (or in cluster) takes care for a highest availability. All data points from the EIB-components are connected with some gateways and controlled by the OPC Server.
The management of more than 100.000 data points and hundred of gateways are normal in large projects and our products are designed to support this too.
